Providenciales presents some great opportunities to find shopping vacation deals on jewelry, designer resort apparel and fine artwork.
In the Grace Bay resort area, there are two shopping plazas – Regent Village and Salt Mills.
Regent Village has a number of restaurants featuring French, Thai, Italian, Indian and international cuisine, as well as art galleries, clothing stores, souvenir shops and jewelry stores. There is also FOTTAC, which sells the locally produced Bambarra rum and invites visitors to enjoy rum sampling.
Just across the street is Salt Mills, another plaza where shopping for vacation deals on souvenirs is easy and affordable. Here you will find more apparel and jewelry shops, a popular art gallery and also the Cuban cigar crafters and Yoshis Sushi.
The Ports of Call retail complex is another shopping area in the Grace Bay area that tourists enjoy visiting. A number of souvenir shops and restaurants are located at Ports of Call, as well as Giggles, which serves soft and hard ice cream and other sugary delights.
Some luxury resorts on Providenciales also feature boutiques. The Palms Turks and Caicos, located adjacent to the Alexandra Resort, has a designer boutique, swimwear shop, gourmet delicatessen and fine arts and crafts gallery. Resort apparel can also be found in boutiques at Seven Stars, Gansevoort and Grace Bay Club.
Book lovers can find a good selection of reading materials at Unicorn Bookstore, located in the same retail complex as the IGA on Leeward Highway.
If you are looking for vacation deals on locally made crafts, visit the crafts marketplace, located just a short walk from the Gourmet Graceway grocery store.
While you won’t find a huge array of duty free or souvenir shops on Providenciales, you can easily find some terrific vacation deals on souvenirs and artwork during your visit. Jais Jewelry or Royal Jewels offer great deals on jewelry and watches.
