A resort upgrade program is underway at the Alexandra Resort, a four star beachfront resort on Providenciales in Turks and Caicos.
The team at the all-suites resort commenced a property-wide upgrade program in September, 2015. The program includes enhancements to many of the suites in the Lady Rose, Prima Donna and Marilyn buildings, landscaping and amenities improvements, and renovations to restaurant facilities to prepare for the opening of a new restaurant in early October called Asu on the Beach.
Accommodation upgrades include fresh paint, new soft goods, new window coverings and bed linens, new sleeper sofas in many of the one and two bedroom suites, new mattresses on beds (including upgrades to king size mattresses in some suites) and upgrades to outdoor furniture.
The resort grounds will benefit from landscaping improvements, upgrades to poolside furniture and new entrance signs.
Restaurant facilities at this popular Turks and Caicos resort are being completely renovated to make way for Asu on the Beach. The restaurant’s name means sunset in Taino, the language spoken by the Arawak Indians who lived in Turks and Caicos centuries ago. The restaurant will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Resort guests will be able to dine on the expansive beach deck, in the air conditioned dining area, poolside, or at the beach. Barefoot dining on the beach will also be offered at dinner.
The Alexandra Resort is a member of the Turks and Caicos Collection, a group of beachfront resorts that includes Beach House Turks and Caicos, and Blue Haven Resort and Marina.
The Alexandra Resort will re-open with its fresh new look in early October. Learn more about the resort at www.alexandraresort.com.
