After the glorious weather and incredible beaches, perhaps one of the best aspects of a vacation in Turks and Caicos is enjoying some of the fabulous dining opportunities on Providenciales.
One of the best places to do that is at Asú on the Beach, a Turks and Caicos restaurant at Alexandra Resort. Located on an oceanfront beach deck overlooking the entire stretch of world acclaimed Grace Bay beach, the setting doesn't get any better.
Asú on the Beach is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant emphasizes a relaxed environment with cheerful and contemporary decor to welcome guests during the day, and by night patrons are presented with a magical dining atmosphere under a starlit sky accentuated by swaying illuminated baskets. Asú means sunset in Taino, the language spoken by the Arawak Indians who lived in Turks and Caicos centuries ago. Appropriately named, the restaurant is one of the best places on the island to see the sun go down.
Asú on the Beach also offers barefoot dining on the beach for dinner, which is always a special treat for island visitors. Reservations should be made in advance for a private dinner on the beach. The indoor dining area includes an open concept kitchen, as well as a lounge with comfortable furniture and big screen TV's, and an air conditioned function room for private events. The new pizza deck at Asú overlooks the ocean, and serves stone baked pizzas. Open daily, patrons may select from the pizza specialties, or create their own custom pizza, cooked to perfection. The lounge offers a relaxed vibe with comfortable sofas arranged around fire pits.
Alexandra Resort guests can also enjoy food and beverage service on the beach from our new beach bar, open throughout the day so you don't even need to step off the sand. Service is also provided at the restaurant’s swim-up pool bar, and poolside.
Kitchen 218 at Beach House Turks and Caicos offers a stunning combination of brilliant cuisine and performance art. It has quickly earned a reputation as one of the leading dining establishments on Providenciales.
At Blue Haven Resort, Fire and Ice features a delightful and elegant waterfront dining venue, while the relaxed Salt Bar and Grill is suited to vacationers seeking a casual meal or a place to enjoy happy hour.
Guests of Alexandra Resort can take a complimentary dining shuttle to dine at Blue Haven Resort, and Beach House. The complimentary shuttle operates daily and reservations are required. Guests should reserve their shuttle service at least 30 minutes prior to departure with the Guest Services team. The shuttle has a maximum capacity for ten passengers.
For additional value and convenience, resort guests may purchase a daily meal plan for $120++pp/day (half price for children ages 12 and under). The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus select alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages by the glass at lunch and dinner. Guests may choose the number of days for which they wish to purchase the meal plan (excluding day of arrival and departure). The meal plan is available for purchase prior to arrival or at check in.
